The last couple of days we have been hiking along the Welsh Coastal Path that was created in 2012. The world’s first uninterrupted route along a national coast, all 870 miles of it!! The path meanders along the coast above the cliff sides, through meadows, woodlands and across sandy beaches and estuaries. Along the way we enjoyed the return of the birds and all the wildflowers.
Much of the path was established by travelers thousands of years ago on their pilgrimages to sacred sites.
