Walkabout Begins in Dublin
Yesterday morning we started our Walkabout here in Dublin and visited Newgrange, a Neolithic burial tomb on the banks of the river Boyne. Last night we eat our supper down at Pinocchios, an authentic Italian restaurant on Pudding Street a block away from the Liffey River and our hotel the Harding. After breakfast this morning we took a short walk along the cobbled streets down to Trinity College to visit the “Book of Kells”. Tomorrow along the way we will visit Wexford, and in the evening sail across the Irish Sea to Fishguard, in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. Newgrange images by OPW.
