The Hamlet of Penmaenpool

After breakfast today we were transported to the hamlet of Penmaenpool and began our hike at the George the Third Tavern. We walked along the Mawddach estuary, saw many birds including a dipper. We stopped on the beach made some hot tea and had some lunch. We hiked around Arthog and visited the Falls and continued our journey across the railway bridge to Barmouth. After ice creams we caught the public bus back to Dolgellau to the Inn where we are staying.
