"Attempting the Northwest Passage” is a documentary film directed by Taff Roberts of the sailing vessel Catryn and the five crew members on their attempt to sail from Greenland to Nome, Alaska.

The film premiered at the Frozen River Film Festival in Winona, Minnesota in February 2016 and also showed at the Mountain Film Festival in Llanberis, North Wales, in March 2016. The film also showed at the Arctic Film Festival and Gathering in Grand Marais Minnesota, November 2017.
